Scrumpies Party

August 2005

The Plymouth group met at our usual spot jus after 2pm. We took a leisurely ride up the A38, M5 to Court Farm. Navigator led, so it was a great suprise when we arrived without going via Andover! Tents were soon pitched after meeting with Tassles and Norman, who had arrived earlier. It was nice to meet old friends and catch up on the news(Gossip). in the bar on Friday evening Trevor and Sue got to see Tassles do his party trick. This was their first party, so we hope it hasn't put them off. Tassles brought a sheep with him, must be something with him being Cornish. They seemed to get along well!! Saturday found most of the group heading into Weston-Super-Mere for the MAG meeting. Trevor, Sue, Leanne and myself went of to ride through Chedder Gorge. Saturday night found a live group which went down well, as well as the usual raffles and stuff. Sunday morning greeted those of us early risers with a lovely sight of the mist in the vally. Soon it was time to pack our stuff and say a fond farewell to all our friends. Agood time was had by all.
