Club members having a good time in 2002
10th February 2002
Sunday saw Tony, Brian, John and John meet up at Exeter
Services. The weather was cool but dry.
We set off for Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum. An
uneventful ride saw us reaching the museum, where we spent a very enjoyable 3
hours looking around at all of the exhibitions.
There would have been some photos, but my camera had
run out of battery power.
A dry ride home concluded the first Sunday Rideout of
2002.

10th March 2002
It was forecast cold, cloudy and wet, just the weather
for a 80 mile bikeride, so it was no surprise that just 3 of us turned up at
the meeting point. Bikers 3 are we, so off to Cornwall we went. At Plymouth 2
more brave souls were waiting for us, and the forecast from Cornwall member
Tony was that the sun was out. The ride to Asda in St.Austell was dry with a
small shower, so when we met up with the Cornish members we were in high
spirits.
After the legendary `Full Monty` breakfast in Asda we
set off for the Eden project, the pictures tell the rest of the story.
I remembered to pack new batteries for the camera this
time.

Sat 6th April 2002
We joined Centre 17 "The Scrumpies" for a rollicking
night out at The Bottleneck Inn, Okehampton.
Good beer, good company, good laugh. Nuff said.

Sun 14th April
2002
A cold but dry sunday morning saw 10 bikes gather at
Exeter services for our monthly rideout.
Tony led the group on his 650 orange Dragstar to "The
Silent Woman" pub in Wareham.
The ride was uneventful and dry. While we were at the
pub having lunch, we were joined by the local Triumph Owners club, where about
25 bikes arrived. We swapped bike specifications and admired each others steeds
for half hour before returning home. Good ride. Good day.

Sun 5th May 2002
At last, the Southwest Custom &
Classic show is here.
15 Bikes met at Exeter Services and we made our way to
the show.
Had a really good day, met the Scrumpies on their
excellent stand and quite a few of our members made some bargain
purchases.

Sun 12th May 2002
Sunday rideout to Croyde Bay, North Devon.
Superb weather saw 5 bikes turn up at Exeter Services
??? Perhaps last weeks ride tired the others out !
Nice leisurly ride to North Devon in fantastic
sunshine. Had a day on the beach and back home again.
